How does IoT work in manufacturing industry?
The Internet of Things simply means that "things" are connected to each other or exchange information through a network. IoT is not just about connecting things through computers, devices, or home appliances. Its goal is to give these machines intelligence and vitality and to have the ability to think and act independently.
The basic concepts of IoT can be divided into four functions:
- Obtaining information from “people” and “things”: People can directly input data through computers, mobile phones, or tablets, and the information related to “things” (such as industrial machinery, transportation equipment, home appliances, residential equipment, etc.) can rely on various sensors device to obtain.
- Collect information through the network and place it in the "cloud": After collecting the information, you can place the information in an external cloud service, or a cloud device built by the enterprise itself.
- Data analysis: After the data is organized, it can be analyzed, and artificial intelligence can be used to assist if necessary.
- Analysis results: According to the analysis results, the best solution can be provided for "people" and "things".
